 AvantGuard Security Solutions is a Nigerian security
solutions outfit. It is an innovative and dynamic company that prides
itself as a one-stop shop for providing a wide range of security
services. We are packaged and equipped to deliver excellent security
services where and when required. Incorporated in December 2004, the
company has been involved in maritime security since the drive for
Nigeria’s International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code
compliance was officially kicked off sometime in December 2003. At the
time, the chief executive officer of the firm was contracted as a
consultant for one of the 4 foreign Recognized Security Organizations
(RSO) known as HudsonTrident. Due to the buildup of activities in the
sector and the demand for more consultants, the process of
incorporation of AvantGuard was initiated in August 2004. In April 2005
AvantGuard along with 4 other foreign security outfits was granted
license to operate as a RSO in the maritime industry by the
Presidential Implementation Committee on Maritime Safety and Security
(PICOMSS).
AvantGuard is engaged in
delivering a variety of security services not only in the maritime
industry but in the aviation, banking and industrial sectors. Our goal
is to provide optimum security and to make our nation’s business
terrain safe and more conducive for the conduct of economic activities.
In a nation that is generally perceived to be unsafe and ranked amongst
the most insecure nations in the world the importance of security
cannot be over-emphasized.

 AvantGuard is privileged to have in her pool, a retinue
of highly skilled, experienced and resourceful indigenous and
expatriate consultants, with vast knowledge in various areas of
aviation, maritime, industrial as well as general security and safety.
Most of our consultants have extensive military, police, intelligence
and security backgrounds spanning decades. The team also boasts of
fraud experts and analysts, information technology experts,
investigation and interrogation specialists and professionals in other
highly specialized fields.
Our team is strongly synergized to provide our
clients with highly qualitative and professional services to meet
international security/safety standards. We believe that the strength
